Description

I was a big fan of the TV show Firefly for several years. Even though the show only ran one short season before it was canceled, it produced a lot of inspiring art work from fans and I pitched in a little bit with a few things. Then along came a Firefly movie called Serenity, and several comic books and novels, and TV companion books, etc. Lots of graphic opportunities, but mainly if a person was a comic artist. This painting “The Companion” was painted of one of the characters, who was basically a high-class hooker but known as a “companion”, whose name was Inara.

This is a very warm, very detailed watercolor, and it measures about 25″ X 27″. It is matted. It won a place in two art shows in the Minneapolis area and an award in one.

Buy it at my Artspan gallery, Gemini Gallery II.
