Description

This watercolor was inspired by a trip to Tulum, Mexico in 2007. It’s not location-accurate, but if you have been there you will appreciate the concept. The ocean there is a shade of blue that comes out of no tube of paint ever invented. This is an ancient Mayan site that is right on the edge of the earth looking east, a fortress above what has to be one of the world’s most beautiful beaches.

This watercolor and all artwork here is for sale. Buy it at my Artspan gallery, Gemini Gallery II.
